What colors of accent lights are illegal to run in NC on motorcycles?

Red and blue. Those are for emergency vehicles only, just about everywhere.

Note: this law does not appear to make any provision for brake lights.

There are all the laws on the subject. Search the index for “light”

Ambers are explicitly allowed.
