yes, the position is somewhat awkward if you’ve never had any bikeexperienceand are trying to learn. if you do end up getting one and try to learn to ride on it, you will probably end up dropping itbecause of the way you have to put your feet. cruisers are much easier (and more comfortable) to learn on… cruisersalso have a much more workable powerband for someone who is new to bikes. good luck and be careful out there!
