The 1938 Speed Twin was the inspiration for all other manufactures of the era, ahead of it's time if you will. The modern Daytona 675 will piss on any equivalent Jap bike and the Rocket III is a Harley beater, I guess that's not hard though, they're overweight and under powered characterless machines riden by fat old blokes.
