I drive a bike in an urban environment and this video I can totally relate too. I have had two crashes in my 8 years of driving, both of which were as consequence to me assuming too much. Both cases I was lawfully correct, but it doesnt change the fact that had I have read between the lines, the accidents would probably not have occured. If your driving a bike but are not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then your dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Two in eight years?! That is freaking scary… makes me afraid to buy one. Are crashes that common for all riders?

Actually, no. Crashes *are* that common for riders who don’t pay attention to what’s around them.Which is the whole point of the vid. Take the Safety Course, Wear the Gear, Ride Safe.

This video is not only very helpful and promotes safety but it is also not boring and can keep your attention. Great job.
