These gloves saved my hands when I flew over a car and ate the asphalt at 60 MPH on the 91 Fwy. They also helped protect my hands from debris flying around on the freeway and also from the elements. The knuckles are armored so you can back hand the windshield of that car that is getting to close, pretty good.
