When I installed the 9 volt battery (not included), I pulled the pin to test it. I nearly jumped throughthe roof.
It is a proven fact that motorcycle covers do more to prevent theft than almost any other method – add this alarm, andyou’ll have peace of mind, especially if you can park your bike next to your hotel room door, or at least by the lobby. It will send any thief running. The only improvement would be to change the obnoxious siren with that of recorded gunfire – but that’s up the manufacturer.
My wife and I have these alarms for our bikes. At first I thought that the way it slid into the cover would make the effectiveness of the alarm questionable, but it works fine as is. It’s loud enough to be heard inside the house, andit can be placed and armed discreetly. Pretty inexpensive peace of mind in my opinion.
