Received this jacket this week (10/21/2009). This jacket is perfect for the northwest as we do spend a lot of time out in the rain during the year! The canvas side of the jacket is very utilatarian with lots of pockets. The jacket’s styling it is understated. I love the rugged fabric.
The nylon/polyester side is also understated and takes the water on well. Wearing the nylon/polyester side, I walked through steady rain for about 10 minutes. No water seeped inside, on to the cavas side. Zippers kept the water out in the front as well. Great light weight jacket for the late fall,winter and early spring in the north west.
Loved riding on the bike with it as well.
Overall, love the jacket!!
